Operating Instructions & Specifications

Operating Instructions

Your DHV-100 is easy to fit and use. Follow these steps:-

  1. Place the lid on top of the drum.
  2. Zip the Heater Jacket to the lid and then zip up the jacket.
  3. Plug the DHV-100 power cord into the Heating outlet of the included Inkbird Temperature Controller, and plug the Inkbird Temperature Controller into a 240V RCD protected outlet. For Inkbird Temperature Controller settings see their simple instructions on YouTube.
  4. Experiment with temperature settings to achieve your desired viscosity, but once that viscosity is reached, the temperature should be turned down low, as maintaining the temperature requires far less energy than elevating the temperature. Like reducing the heat when boiling water to maintain a simmer.
