Operating Instructions & Specifications

Operating Instructions

Your IHV-100 is easy to fit and use. Follow these steps:-

  1. Place the insulated lid on top of the IBC, with the Temperature Controller oriented towards the front (outlet) side.
  2. Zip the four sides to the top. The two (wider) side panels are interchangeable. The front panel has the ‘cat flap’ to allow access to the outlet.
  3. With all four panels zipped to the lid, all that remains is to zip up the four corners and and fold down the corner flaps.
  4. Plug the four side panels into the Temperature Controller, and plug the unit into a 240V, RCD- protected outlet.

Experiment with temperature settings to achieve your desired viscosity, but once that viscosity is reached, the temperature should be turned down low, as maintaining the temperature requires far less energy than elevating the temperature. Like reducing the heat when boiling water to maintain a simmer.
