The Electrotherm IBC Heater Jacket provides efficient heating and insulation for liquid and semi-solid products. Specifically those stored or transported in Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs). The heaters form a miniature ‘hot room’ around IBCs. This makes it easy to raise the temperature of products so they can be decanted. The heaters are remarkably energy efficient and easy to use.
Our unique and specialised carbon-graphite heating elements provide consistent, wide-area even heat on four sides. This makes it ideal for heating large volumes of liquid or semi-solid products. The presence of Electrotherm’s Adjustable Capillary Thermostat allows control. The owner can tailor temperature to suit the properties of the product being heated as well as the ambient conditions. This solution is superior to spiral wound element systems often used in IBC Heater Jackets.
Manufactured in Australia, our jackets are of the highest quality. We use heavy duty PVC coated warp-knit polyester. It is highly durable, washable and flame retardant.
The Electrotherm IBC Heater jacket is tremendously popular in the honey industry. It is also used to heat epoxy resins for road coatings, polyurethane adhesives and a wide variety of other food products.
